Methods of NOx emission reduction in exhaust gases of marine medium reverse diesel endines (revision of the articles in Diesel facts. 2010, N 4)

Entrance into action of Tier III standards in 2016 results in the need to introduce technical tools and solutions that will help to reduce NOx emissions by 80 %. The results of studies of modern engines of foreign manufacture are presented and the recommendations are given, the ways of NOx reduction are shown. The main events are: the battery system Common Rail injection and selective catalytic reactivation of exhaust gases. The advantages and disadvantages of the main events are considered.
