Power saving management of electric drives of pump unitsKeywords: the frequency converter , the power savings. Abstract: Modeling and debugging of different modes of pump units’ work took place at the pump station operating on the basis of Astrakhan state technical university power saving range. Twenty-four-hour monitoring of the work and power consumption of the pump station, opportune analysis of data and their reduction to the archive helped to make diagrams of power consumption and schedules of output pressure in the pipeline at direct start and start using frequency converter. It is proved that frequency regulated drive allows not only increasing the stability of the system where it is used, but power resource saving. The application of the results of the water transport tests leads to fuel resources saving, that decreases CO2 emission into the atmosphere.
