Correlation study between ct and pathology in assessing cervical lymphadenopathy into laryngectomees neck dissectionKeywords: metastatic adenopathy , CT , Pathological Anatomy , laryngeal Carcinoma , Next Dissection Abstract: The presence of cervical nodal metastases in clinical data more relevantprognosis in head and neck cancer. Using this premise, we proposeconducting a retrospective study analyzed all patients with laryngealcarcinoma or who underwent cervical lymph node dates from January 2008until August 2011, with the aim of analyzing the characteristics of metastaticlymphadenopathy on CT, analyze the degree of correlation betweenradiological findings found in Tc and the result of Pathology and finally studythe sensitivity and specificity of CT in detecting metastatic cervicallymphadenopathy.As findings highlight a high degree of correlation betweenradiographic findings of CT in the detection of metastatic lymph nodes andthe results of Pathology, and the high degree of sensitivity and specificity ofCT in detecting lymph node metastases.
