Is family medicine responsive to current health problems and people’s needs?DOI: http://dx.doi.org/10.5867/medwave.2013.03.5644 Keywords: family medicine , primary care , Chile Abstract: Family medicine in Chile was initially introduced in the early eighties. From then on, roughly 500 family doctors have been trained in seven universities. Just like in other countries, this has been a arduous task.
