HONORé DE BALSAC: LA TEORíA DEL ANDAR

: This essay introduces Balsac as a researcher on human movement. Although the literary dimension is not ignored, I focus my attention on the capacity of the author to analyse and capture the social importance of the body and its movement. I think that "La teoría del andar" (The theory of walk) initiates a line of work (the body, the movement and social relations) which does not deserve too much consideration within contemporary PE.Resumen: Este ensayo trata de mostrar a un Balsac investigador del movimiento humano. Sin despreciar el aspecto literario, se hace un esfuerzo por resaltar la capacidad de análisis que el autor tiene para captar la importancia social del cuerpo y su movimiento. Creo que "La teoría del andar" inicia una línea de trabajo que no goza de mucha consideración en la Educación Física de nuestra época: el cuerpo y el movimiento en la relación con los demás.
