The paper summarizes experimental results on the corrosion of hot-dip galvanized steel n concrete. To this purpose the experimental tests were effectuated on kinetics and mechanism corrosion of rebars placed n electrolytes simulating the solution n concrete pores and fresh concrete during its hardening. The electrochemical analysis methods were studied the corrosion kinetics and mechanism and using optical microscopy and X-ray diffraction revealed the formation of calcium hydroxizincate on hot-dip galvanized steel reinforcement surface. The results showed a better corrosion behavior of hot dip galvanized steel reinforcement n an environment as close to pH 12.5 and while formation the calcium hydroxizincate passivating layer.
