narco”; “Culiacán” Architecture and drug dealing have indissoluble links. When the current development of the later impacts the different spheres of social life, we observe how the map of the drug Latin American city reconfigures through punctual investments in real estate with such an impact that they constitute new urban landscapes. We toured Culiacán hunting for visual significant images of the building that punctually testifies life and death, ostentation and dominion of the urban scenery. We made a preliminary round of interviews with informers linked to the design and building of the local architecture. We have also included the study and consultation of secondary sources that reworked the experience through reportage, novels and journalistic research. This will give the description and reading of a city impacted by the prolonged immersion of drug dealing in the economy and culture; a first urban recognition guide of material evidences of violated social relationships. Arquitectura y narcotráfico mantienen ligas indisolubles. Cuando el actual desarrollo de éste impacta las distintas esferas de la vida social observamos cómo el mapa de la narco ciudad latinoamericana se reconfigura a partir de inversiones inmobiliarias puntuales tan impactantes que constituyen nuevos paisajes urbanos. Recorrimos Culiacán a la caza de imágenes visuales significativas de la edificación puntual que testimonia vida y muerte, ostentación y dominio del escenario urbano. Hice una ronda preliminar de entrevistas de informantes ligados al dise o y construcción de arquitectura local. También se ha incluido el estudio y consulta de fuentes de segunda mano que reelaboran la experiencia por la vía del reportaje, la novela y la investigación periodística. Con ello se obtendrá la descripción y lectura de ciudad impactada por la inmersión prolongada en la economía y cultura del narcotráfico, una primera guía urbana de reconocimiento de evidencias materiales de relaciones sociales violentadas.
