STUDY ON THE MOTIVES FOR PSYCHOLOGICAL CONSULTATION IN A UNIVERSITY POPULATION

This paper is elaborated within the context of the following Investigation Project called: Construction of apsychopathic profile of the population that consult for a Psicology service at the Health and Social ServiceDepartment of the Buenos Aires University .On it, it is described its advanced state, revealing: 1) the consulting population regarding its distribution: faculty ofbelonging, age and gender. 2) the most frequent consulting reasons, and finally, 3) the changes on these reasons ; itwill be taken into account the consults between 1998-2001.The information to be evaluated are the interviews of admission. The methodology is the quali-quantitive analysisof the data obtained through this material. The results will not be considered definitive as the project is under aprocess, that it is dued to end on December 2003.
