Chinese Text and Translat on of the Kül Tigin Inscription / Kül Tigin Yaz t n n ince Metni ve Tercümesi

The II. Turkish Khanate Inscription Kül Tigin was erected by his brother Bilge Kagan on the death of Kutlug lteri Kagan’s son Kül Tigin on 732. There are Turkish texts in Turkish-letter on the south, east and north sides of Kül Tigin inscription, the west side has a Chinese text which was writen by Tang Emperor Xuan Zong. The Chinese text of Tang Emperor Xuan Zong has been published by many researchers till today. But the majority of these publications don’t reflect completely the original of Chinese text, and also gives rise to misunderstandings. With considering the translations in this article re-read and interpreted the Chinese text on west side of Kül Tigin inscription. II. Kül Tigin yaz t n n güney, do u ve kuzey yüzlerinde (K k)türk harfli Türk e metin; bat yüzünde ise, Tang mparatoru Xuan Zong taraf ndan yaz lm ince bir metin bulunmaktad r. Tang mparatoru Xuan Zong’a ait ince metin bugüne kadar pek ok ara t rmac taraf ndan yay mlanm t r. Ancak s z konusu yay nlar n büyük b lümü ince metnin orijinalini tam olarak yans tmamakta ve yanl anla lmalara da sebebiyet vermektedir. Bu makalede mevcut tercümelerin tamam da g z nünde bulundurularak Kül Tigin yaz t n n Bat yüzündeki ince metin yeniden okunup yorumlanmaktad r.
