One of the important province of Ottoman State in Anatolia was Konya that t was very important province for Christians in Byzantine State period, too. It was the most important province in Sel uklu State and in 12nd century this province was the centre of science, culture and politica in slamic world. But after falling the Sel uklu State Konya lost ts importance slowly. In this article it will explain how konya gained impotnance in Ottoman State and what the role of Medrese is.
