Abstract:

Introduction: Attention has an important role in the daily life of each individual, because, through it interact with the environment responding to stimuli applied in the midst, besides assisting in the organization of mental processes. Objective: The present article was to evaluate the correlation between the state of care in the performance of children aged 5-7 years, to meet a logical-mathematical task. Methodology: This research is used the method of evaluation of a context that allowed us to elaborate a descriptivestudy about the phenomenon studied, strategies have been used as the Test of Mental Processing and visual and motor gestalt test Bender - B-SPG.Conclusion: We conclude that there is a correlation between two variablesspecified, ie, attention and performance to meet a logical-mathematical task,and also the difficulty that this type of task is due in part to the low attentionspan and small concentrations.
