A DOUBLE-CHARACTER LOVE STORY WRITTEN BY NAZ F: MALAKSH H AND GULR NAZ F’ N FT KAHRAMANLI A K H K YES : MELEK H u GüLR

The Malakshah and Gulr had been written by M r Mehmed b. Hüseyin Pa a who had used Naz f as pseudonym in the early 18th century. According to its author’s statement it had been translated from a Persian work written in verse. Although Naz f had writed his work in prose he also used many verses in it. The topic of the Malakshah and Gulr is a love story; nevertheless it is possible to find traces of motifs of siyasetnames (works on statesmanship). So in this article, firstly the aforementioned work will be analysed by emphasizing to its important features and then, there will be the Latinized text of this work.
