THE USAGE AND MEANING VARIETY OF THE +CA IN TURKEY TURKISH TüRK YE TüRK ES NDE +CA EK N N KULLANIM VE ANLAM E TL L

The suffix “+CA” used widely in every period of Turkish had the function of equality among case marker suffixes in the first scriptures. Today, it has both attained the aspect of being derivational affix widening usage and widened its usage of meaning in terms of concepts it matches. It can be proved that in written language of Turkish of Turkey this suffix is used in the function of derivational affix in a wide range and that it added different meanings to words considering the examples. Variety of functions and meanings of “+CA” in Turkish of Turkey it’s ability to combine and to form different words make it a function suffix, and besides it’s harmony with vowel harmony distinguishen it from Persian suffix + e Today just a few words formed with this Persian suffix but not used in Turkish any more and which has no harmony with vowel harmony remained only in words.
