ABOUT THE COMPOUND DETERMINANTS IN THE NAMES OF AVENUES, DISTRICTS AND STREETS IN BURSA BURSA’DAK CADDE, MAHALLE, SOKAK ADLARINDA B RLE K YAPILI TAMLAYANLAR üZER NE

All the names of avenues, districts and streets belonging to three central counties (Osmangazi, Nilüfer, Y ld r m) of Bursa have “determinant + determinated” composition and form phrases. The determinants of these phrases were tackled in this study and the compound determinants were evaluated according to their formations. At the end of the study different structures were determined and these phrases were divided into fifteen groups: possesive construction, adjectival construction, indefinite adjectival construction, apposition phrase, compound name (personal names), numeral phrase, sentence, elliptical structure, inverted structure, attributed phrase, handiadyoin, genitive phrase, directive phrase, participial phrase, others.
