HANNAH ARENDT AND BIOPOLITICS: DISTINCTION AND INDISTINCTION BETWEEN WORLD AND LIFEKeywords: World , Life , Modernity , Biopolitics , Hannah Arendt Abstract: The paper examine the meaning and relevance of Hannah Arendt's distinction between world and life, demonstrating how these fundamental dimensions of the human condition throughout modernity reached a dangerous zone of irreducible indistinction that has diluted the demarcation between the worldly context of human existence and the space of biological life. It is intended, therefore, consider the biopolitical implications of this lack of distinction between the world and life, in order to develop a critical examination of the limits and impossibilities of politics in the contemporary scene.
