INCAS Bulletin 2011
CFD Analysis for Industrial Applications using xGrid EnvironmentDOI: 10.13111/2066-8201.2011.3.4.8 Keywords: GRID computing , CFD , HPSC , cluster computing , automatic differentiation , flow control Abstract: Relevant CFD computations are performed in a GRID environment in order to evaluate this technology as a reliable infrastructure for HPSC for complex industrial applications. Several aspects of this environment are presented, including the CFD solver platform based on DxUNSp code developed in INCAS, dedicated pre/postprocessing tools for partitioning and domain decomposition and use of automatic differentiation of source code for optimization problems. Access for users is provided, together with information on our mobile GRID client for access in xGRID, application network for HPSC in fluid mechanics and aerospace research.
