Power acts and shows itself –among so many ways– in the urban configuration of thecities and its different uses. Our aim will be to examine how those tensions and relations with power areestablished in Giorgio Bassani’s Il Romanzo di Ferrara, determining its plots and characters in theirpsychology and in the way they use the city.
