Leiomyoma of the Kidney: A Case Report

Renal leiomyoma is a rare benign mesenchymal tumor which has its origin from smooth muscle cells of different structures of the kidney. Renal leiomyomas are mainly located in the renal capsule and pelvis, or next to these structures. Clinical symptoms are nonspecific or completely absent. We present a case with leiomyoma of the left kidney.
