Erosive, Ulcerative, Vesicular, and Bullous Lesions of Oral Mucosa

The erosions and ulcers located on mucous membranes of oral cavity are complaints encountered frequently in our clinical practice which directly affect the life quality of patients. These lesions may be first signs of a disease with high mortality risk or presenting sign of a multisystemic disease or a cancer. Consequently, the erosions or ulcers of oral cavity are important lesions which need careful and detailed clinical evaluations. In this article, it was focused on algorithmic differential diagnosis of the diseases causing oral ulcers.
