The higher education in Cuba locates in the center of attention the integral development of the professional to be, many actions have been made intended to get this purpose. One variant of this is the scientific investigation from the teaching-learning process and its relation with the extensionist process. This allows the development of knowledge and professional skills in a group of university students which eases the binding of theoretical and empirical aspects and towards a support of professional self-development. The strategy proposed is supported by the historical and cultural approach proposed by L. S. Vygotsky.
