THE NEWSPAPER AS AN ALTERNATIVE TO FOSTER THE SCIENTIFIC CULTURE FROM THE TEACHING OF BIOLOGY / LA PRENSA ESCRITA COMO ALTERNATIVA PARA INCENTIVAR LA CULTURA CIENTíFICA DESDE LA ENSE ANZA DE LA BIOLOGíA

This work consists of the presentation of a group of pamphlets written according to the newspaper style. These pamphlets contain scientific and technological topics. They are bind in one way or another with the scholar syllabi of the Biology subject. They are grouped in generic topics as: nutrition, education for health, ecology, genetic, sexuality, and others. These materials have been used in different activities as: lessons, meetings of different types. It has enabled to increase the students’ motivation and together with that it has contributed with their cultural and scientific formation. This experience is part of the result of a “CITMA” project.
