The Adaptation of the Education Program of Dicle University School of Medicine with National Core Education Curriculum and the Alteration of Student Grades

Abstract:

In this study we aimed to investigate the adaptation of educational program of Dicle University School of Medicine with National Core Education Curriculum and if the educational program is fit with the other School of Medicine’s programs in Turkey. It is also planned to observe the effects of National Core Education Curriculum on educaton which was begun to be applied at 2002- 2003 educational year to grades of first, second and third year medical students. Differences among the groups were assessed by one-way analysis of variance test. Values were considered significantly different when P ≤ 0.05. To adaptate the education program according to National Core curriculum constituted a positive effect on the grades of the students.
