"O tornas-te o que tu és": sua correspondência no educar-se a si mesmo

Abstract:

This article makes some brief remarks on Nietzsche's understanding in relation to the Pindaric formula "become who you are" that conduces to thinking on the way whereby this philosopher sees an education for the singularity. For this study, the works Schopenhauer as educator; Thus Spoke Zarathustra, sections The covalescent and The honey sacrifice, and Ecce Homo are used as a reference. It can say that the dictum of Pindar "become who you are" has a fundamental place in the thinking of Nietzsche, for it can mean for this philosopher that which relates to the process of educating yourself. That perspective of interpretation goes against the universalist conceptions of formation, and proposes that the great man's task is to find his own way, free from prison of "being", but experiencing himself.
