A educa o da sociedade tecnico-digitalizadaKeywords: Media , neoliberalism , education , political act Abstract: Facing the Paulo Freire, in his work "Pedagogy of the Oppressed" and crisis involving the educational process in contemporary societies characterized by economic globalization and cultural as well as by violence, crime and poverty, fruit growing electronic media and new fascinating technical objects, opens up the advent of a complex mode of living, re-distribute and interact with everyday people. In the globalized world are built through various meanings of the symbolic forms of language that not infrequently erode the social fabric, presenting a new configuration of oppression imposed by the owners of private media and public that spread with ever more sophisticated capitalist ideology which excludes the poor for being poor. So, to Paulo Freire, the oppression is exercised to the extent that it absorbs the fear of freedom, arising from hosting an oppressive conscience. How to swim against the tide capitalist? Who is responsible for the violence in the global village? How to solve it? These are questions this article tries to answer through a literature search. The historical practices of resistance and opposition are present among the various social movements who believe still be possible to build a more human and compassionate. In the case of the teaching and learning, the method of Liberating Pedagogy of Paulo Freire who considers education as a process of awareness and proposing alternatives to the practices of social exclusion and therefore it is critical consciousness as a political act. And the training of teachers have a crucial role in this endeavor.
