Pattern Recognition on Fingerprint Database

This paper presents fingerprintregistration in a fingerprint database with phaseonly correlation techniques, POC. A fingerprintdatabase consist form fingerprint classes provided byeach fingertip of a person. Thus the registrationmethods have to discriminate between the genuineand impostor fingerprints – i.e. classes. Twomodified phase only correlation techniques withefficient registration results are presented: rectangleband limited phase only correlation, BPOC, andelliptic limited phase only correlation, EPOC.
