The article presents the purposes and priority directions of development of improvement of water complex of agrarian and industrial complex according to Water strategy of agriculture of Russia for the period till 2020. It also analyzes water supplies of the Krasnodar region with planned development of improvement of water economic complex. It presents the conclusions for the further water economic works in a basin of Kuban river
