The authors have investigated the consequences of WTO membership for the livestock industries in Rus-sia. The analysis of the implementation of national projects and programs for dairy cattle in the Krasnodar region has been accomplished. The measures to stimulate the development of animal husbandry at the federal, regional and micro level have been proposed
