О задачах и методах словообразовательнои разметки в корпусе текстов
(Word-formation annotation of the Russian National Corpus – aims and methods)

This article reports on a project aimed at creating a full-fledged word- formation annotation of the Russian National Corpus (http: //rus- corpora.ru). In the article we outline the goals of the first stage of our work - compiling a word-formation database suitable for corpus an- notation. We furthermore discuss some important theoretical problems of Russian word-formation, describe stipulated searching possibilities and the annotation format, and outline possible approaches to automation of the annotation process.
