APPLICATION OF AUTOMATION AND ROBOTICS IN CONSTRUCTION WORK EXECUTION

In this paper are in particular presented the results of the survey on the usageof automation and robotics technologies in construction work execution by Slovakcontractors. The results of the questionnaire developed within the survey pointed outsome notable aspects in terms of the current usage of automation and robotics systemsin the Slovak construction industry and offered some implications related to the futureadvance in this scope within the country. Moreover, the paper mentions the benefits ofautomation and robotics technologies application during construction work executionand in brief gathers the factors that form barriers to more substantial use of thetechnologies in the sites.
