Cyclical fluctuations in GDP growth have a significant impact on the vastmajority of economic indicators. Past surveys showed that economic fluctuations arereflected in the amount of revenue generated by local governments. The present articlediscusses the problem of economic impact of cyclical fluctuations on the results oflocal government budgets.
