The development of the public administration science (if we can call it a science) in theRomanian academic field is rather recent and not entirely shaped. Our national devolpment couldbenefit from a careful look towards the early beginnings of public administration science in othercountries, especially that in the United Stetes. This article represents just the start of a larger studyabout the public administration science in Romania and abroad.
