COMMUNICATION AND CONFLICT MANAGEMENT IN LOCAL PUBLIC ORGANIZATIONS

Intra-organizational con ict within public institutions represents a topic that, until recently, has been rather ignored in Romania. This article is trying to present the multiple role of communication in solving, controlling and preventing con icts in local public organizations. The paper presents a set of theoretical models (of con ict and communication in organizations) and, based on the data offered by an organizational diagnosis-type research, analyzes the role of communication processes in con ict management and prevention.
