Specific Aspects of State Social Security Reform in Romania

The National pension system, in the light of major economic and financial transactions thattake place today, can be challenging, through the difficulties that they create and the solutions thatthey offer. This paper is a comprehensive study on the public pension system in Romania facing thecurrent global crisis, based on local case studies in an attempt to identify the main gaps and topropose viable solutions. The obtained results are based on multifactorial analysis at local level, bypersonal processing of relevant data, the evolving activity collected from a county pension facilitythat meets the characteristics of the retirement pension system nationwide.
