Porte : un dialogue par le livre. Fran ois Cheng et Claude Garanjoud

Cet article sur le dialogue par le livre a pour sujet l’échange entre le poète contemporain Fran ois Cheng (1929 Nanchang, Chine) et le peintre lyrique abstrait Claude Garanjoud (1926 Isère – 2005 Lyon). Nous analysons le rapport entre les encres et les poèmes à travers un livre que les artistes ont réalisé en commun, Porte (1994), notamment à partir de leurs conceptions respectives des deux modes d’expression, la peinture et l’écriture étant considérés comme à égalité dans ce qu’on nomme un livre de dialogue (Yves Peyré). This article about the dialogue which can exist within a book on art, deals with the creative exchange between the contemporary poet Fran ois Cheng (1929 Nanchang, Chine) and the painter Claude Garanjoud (1925 Isère – 2005 Lyon), who is considered to be a lyrical abstractionist. I analyse the relationship between two men as well as their two means of expression, poetry and ink painting – both equally strong in expression - in the so-called book-of-dialogue (Yves Peyré) Porte (Door, 1994).
