O artigo pretende explicitar em que consiste a vis o (ópsis) na República de Plat o, usada pelo filósofo como imagem que ajudaria a fazer compreender o que ele entende por conhecimento de Ideias. This paper aims to explain what Plato means in the Republic by "sight" (opsis), a concept used by the philosopher as an image that can help us to understand what he means by knowledge of Ideas.
