Use of Information Technology in Business Processes In Pakistani and Multinational Pharmaceutical Companies in Korangi.

This study presents an analysis of IT use and Business Processes (BP) in Korangi pharmas. Information system usage and manufacturing performance are moderately associated within the sample. There is little difference in the utilization of IT between the multinational and Pakistani firms. The main deficiency of utilization are in decision support systems and external integration functions. Suggestions are presented for increasing effectiveness of IT use in business process
