A preparation of the map bases for the GIS project

The paper deals with possibilities of the map bases preparation in a contemporary geodesy for a purpose of the Geographical Information Systems (GIS). The Local Information System (LIS) project, oriented to the utilization of the geodetic deformation measurements of the mining exposed terrain surface, is presented.
