Tratamiento coadyuvante con oxigenación hiperbárica de la hernia discal lumbar L5-S1 Coadjuvant treatment with hyperbaric oxygenation of L5-S1lumbar disc herniation

Se presenta un paciente con el diagnóstico de hernia discal tratada con oxigenación hiperbárica, que llevó un tratamiento de 6 meses de evolución. Se le aplicó 2,3 atmósfera absoluta de tratamiento con un tiempo de isopresión de 50 min. Se aplicaron 15 sesiones de tratamiento y se repitieron a los 3 y 6 meses. La evolución del paciente fue satisfactoria, pues disminuyó el dolor paravertebral así como la sintomatología neurológica. A female patient with the diagnosis of disc herniation treated with hyperbaric oxygenation for 6 months was presented. 2.3 absolute atmospheres were applied with a time of isopressure of 50 min. She received 15 sessions of treatment, which were repeated at 3 and 6 months. The evolution of the patient was satisfactory, since the paravertebral pain and the neurological symptomatology were reduced.
