Cholera, which is the head of epidemic diseases that cause the most loss of lives in the World, spreaded out from India where t was first occured in the early nineteenth century and brought out big epidemics in lots of countries. Ottoman territory was also affected by this epidemic, after the second half of the century a lot of choleraincident had been seen in various places. In this work the Cholera epidemic that was occured in Tarsus in 1895, which made destruction and effected nearby cities is handled. The reasons, intensity and precautions of the epidemic is searched depending the archive records.
