Abstract:

Limphocoeles are the most frequent disorders with liquid collection after renal transplantation. Their occurrences are 5-15%. They are most frequently associated with urethral obstruction. The aim of this work was to determine incidence of limphocoeles after kidney transplantation in comparation with type of donor, postoperative complication and therapy regiment. We analyzed 463 recipients (average 36,2±10,3 years). 319 received kidney from living donor and 144 from cadaver donor at Institute of urology and nephrology, Clinical Center, Bel-grade.Limphocoeles complicated postoperative recovery in 56 (12,1%) of patients with no cor-relation with type of donor. In 56 patient there were asympthomatic limphocoeles, and in 26 symptomatic. In these patients we doing operative correction and found recidivism in 8 patients (6 after percutaneous aspiration and 2 after percutaneous aspiration with installation of povidon iodide).Big symptomatic limphocoeles can disturb graft in postoperative course. Echosonogra-phy is the best method for detection and per cutaneous drainage in therapy of this disorder.
