Pharmacogenomics, Single Nucleotide Polymorphism and Genome: An Approach for Individualized Medicine

The study of human genome with special reference to repeat sequence in comparison to coding sequence and single nucleotide polymorphism by alteration in single base pair can provide basic tool for study of genomic diseases. These studies can be evaluated and result can be predicted with the help of different software, reagent testing, DNA micro assay, mass spectroscopy, high efficiency fluorescence polarization method etc. the prediction of results gives the idea for implementation of types of drugs for specific diseases and drug developments. Such development of drugs evolves pharmacogenomics. The application of pharmacogenomics raised the challenges in biotechnology and related pharmaceuticals. Just as in computer and internet revolution, successful technologies offer proved and open solutions to deliver robust results regarding cost, easy implementation and high yield value.
