Gestión de información en salud y experiencias docentes en el Instituto Nacional de Higiene, Epidemiología y Microbiología Information management in health and teaching experiences in the National Institute of Hygiene, Epidemiology and Microbiology

Se realizó un estudio descriptivo longitudinal retrospectivo sobre la docencia en gestión de información en salud, impartida por profesores del departamento de Información Científico-Técnica y Bibliotecología del Instituto Nacional de Higiene, Epidemiología y Microbiología. Se documenta la evolución de los métodos de ense anza/aprendizaje desde los tradicionales cursos presenciales hasta la utilización de las tecnologías de información y comunicaciones en el proceso docente educativo y la implementación de la modalidad autoinstructiva soportada en CD, con acceso a los textos completos de toda la bibliografía para facilitar el conocimiento a aquellos alumnos distantes geográficamente y con problemas de conectividad. A retrospective, longitudinal and descriptive study was conducted on the teaching role in the information management in health gave by professors from the department of Scientific-Technical Information and Library Management. The evolution of teaching methods/learning from the traditional presence courses is documented up to use of information technologies and communications in the teaching-educational process and the implementation of self-instructive recorded in CD with access to complete texts of all the bibliography to make easy the knowledge to those students living geographically far away and with problems of connection.
