Función social y religiosa del espacio y el tiempo devocional

Space and Time had a great significance in the devotional practices of the inhabitants during the Colonial Period in Cordoba of the Tucuman. Domestic and public manifestations, and regular or ocasional religious celebrations, were a good opportunity for them to show how they understood life and death in connection with religion as well as how they socialized with the different ethnic groups and related to one another beyond their colour and social status. El espacio y el tiempo tuvieron una importante significación en las actividades devocionales del período colonial en Córdoba del Tucumán. Manifestaciones domésticas y públicas y las fiestas religiosas, regulares u ocasionales, brindaron la oportunidad para que sus habitantes mostraran el modo de entender la vida y la muerte en tomo a la religión pero, también, la forma de socializarse dentro de los diferentes grupos étnicos y establecer relaciones, unos con otros, más allá del color y de su condición social.
