COLLOCATIONS AS ONE OF THE WAYS OF GENDER REPRESENTATION IN THE GERMAN LANGUAGE

The article deals with some collocations of male and female terms in order to study characteristics of man’s and woman’s images in the German language. The purpose is to prove that the collocations transmit cultural meanings and stereotypes associated with men and women.
