Seculariza o e sua rela o com o ensino religioso =Secularization and its relation to religious education

Este artigo pretende uma compreens o do conceito de Seculariza o no sentido discutido pela Sociologia da Religi o, especificamente na sociologia compreensiva de Max Weber. Daí ent o fazer uma revis o do peculiar e ambíguo processo de seculariza o brasileiro, dando ênfase ao projeto laico de educa o, para ent o perceber o espa o que o Ensino Religioso foi ocupando nesse processo histórico, estando em primeiro momento configurado como doutrina ou ensino para a prática religiosa, em segundo como forma o ética e de valores morais e em terceiro momento como conhecimento cultural das diferentes práticas religiosas, considerando a realidade plural brasileira. This article aims at an understanding of the concept Secularization in the sense discussed by the Sociology of Religion, specifically in comprehensive sociology of Max Weber. So then do a review of the peculiar and ambiguous process of secularization Brazil, emphasizing the project of secular education, to then realize that the space was occupied Religious Education in this historic process. Beingin the first instance configured as a doctrine or teaching to practice their religion in the second as the ethical and moral values and the third moment as cultural knowledge of different religious practices considering the plural reality of Brazil.
