Miringoplastias: Resultados anatomofuncionales

Se revisaron 40 miringoplastias, realizadas en el Servicio de Otorrinolaringología del Hospital Docente Clinicoquirúrgico "Joaquín Albarrán", en el período comprendido entre julio de 1992 y julio de 1995, con el objetivo de valorar sus resultados anatomofuncionales. Veinte y cinco casos se realizaron con la técnica de Underlay y 15 con la de Onlay. En general se obtuvieron buenos resultados anatómicos, sobre todo con la técnica de Underlay, mientras que desde el punto de vista funcional se evidenció mayor ganancia auditiva con el empleo de la de Onlay Forty myringoplasties performed at the Otorhinolaryngologic service of "Joaquín Albarrán" Clinicosurgical and Teaching hospital during July, 1992-1995 were revised with the aim of assessing anatomic and functional results. Twenty five cases underwent a myrinngoplasty with the use of the Underlay technique and 15 cases with the use of the Onlay technique. In general, good anatomic results were obtained, mainly with the use of the Underlay technique, while from the functional point of view, a greater hearing improvement was attained with the use of the Onlay technique
