UMA PROPEDêUTICA DE UMA TEORIA DA ENUNCIA O DO CíRCULO DE BAKHTIN

This paper argues that the essay Discourse in life and discourse in art was written as a propedeutic text, i.e., an introduction of an enunciation theory from the Circle of russian thinkers, among which Mikhail Bakhtin stands out. That essay, written in 1926, already had in an anticipatory way basic concepts of Bakhtinian thought, such as the notion of intonation, the fundamentals of metalinguistics (or translinguistics) and the idea of social orientation as constitutive of enunciation; therefore, that essay is indispensable for anyone who cares to look into the thoughts of the Circle on the theme of enunciated discourse/enunciation.
