O PAPEL DAS IMAGENS NO ENSINO DE LEITURA EM LíNGUA INGLESA: UMA PERSPECTIVA DISCURSIVA

It’s increasingly visible in language textbooks the presence of texts that deal with subjects which reflect the contemporary society by images that illustrate this panorama. In this context, the present article discusses the relevance of images exploration in texts used by teaching reading in English language having as study object the Reading section of the 5th stage of the textbook of the Collection Hello!.
