O documentário (periférico) como um gênero do discurso

The late '90s was a period when suburbs and peripheries began to tell their stories from the film. This calls for reinterpretation of both the production and reflection on the documentary, which can no longer be seen through the prism of concepts that paralyze possibilities of enunciation. In this way, we turn to the studies of Mikhail Bakhtin on the discourse genres, which may be useful to think of the contemporary Brazilian documentary.
