Whether it is the systematic appeal to the crises distillation, a policy of exaggerated cautious cultivation, exaggerated use of enrichment practices, confusing labeling rules or somewhat rigid oenological practices, a whole series of measures must be reviewed. It is useless to mention the budget which, instead of being used as leverage for an effective restructuring of the sector, promotes measures that have limited and short-term effect. The current system does not provide a basis for a sustainable and significant development of the producers’ competitiveness.
